NOTES ON CONTRIBUTORS


Eddie Berg is the founder and Director of
FACT [Foundation for Art &. Creative
Technology]. He has curated many
projects and exhibitions, conceived the
Biennial Video Positive festival and is
leading the development of the FACT
Centre, which is set to open in early
2003.


Bryan Biggs is an artist who was Gallery
Curator at Liverpool's Bluecoat Arts
Centre 1978-1998 and is now Director of
the Arts Centre.


Lewis Biggs was Gallery Programmer at
Arnolfini, Bristol, 1979-83 and an
Exhibition Officer at the British Council
before joining Tate Liverpool in 1987,
where he was Director 1990-2000. He
was a founding Trustee of Liverpool
Biennial before becoming Chief
Executive in 2000.


Michael Bracewell is the author of six
novels including St Rachel and Perfect
Tense. He has also published a survey
of English popular culture, England is
Mine, and most recently a selection of
essays and shorter pieces called The
Nineties.


Art historian and critic Lynne Cooke has
been Curator at Dia Center for the Arts,
New York, since 1991. She was Co-
Curator (with Mark Francis) of the 1991
Carnegie International, and Curator of the
Sydney Biennale 1996. She is on the
faculty of Bard College Curatorial
Studies Department and also teaches at
Columbia University.


Catherine Gibson was trained as an
artist and has been Curator of Bluecoat
Gallery since 1999.


Sarah Clennie was Curator of Exhibitions
at the Irish Museum of Modern Art before
joining Henry Moore Foundation
Contemporary Projects as Projects
Curator in September 2001.


Christoph Grunenberg has been Director
of Tate Liverpool since 2001, and had
previously worked as a curator at The
National Gallery, Washington, the
Kunsthalle Basel and the ICA Boston,
where he was also Acting Director 1997-
98. He has written extensively on the
history of museums and installation.
