| | Biography: | Algaze was born in Cuba, left in 1960 for
Miami where he studied. He takes
photographs of Latin American people
and places, taking photojournalism and
street photography, mostly in black and
white. He went back fto Cuba or the first
time in late 1999. Algaze cites de
Chirico's painted city squares as
inspiration for their evocation of
solitude,
mystery and the passage of time. |
