Description:
Inside a simple wooden frame phone-booth like structure hang three monochrome paintings depicting everyday scenes in the city. Artist’s statement: ‘(...) (This) is a structure illustrating another work of art that may’ve taken place inside it as it stood at Piccadilly Circus. It is flimsy but big and bright, pathetic but celebratory, inadequate but grand, like notes on imaginary books.’
