Artist's Statement
Using an unbroken 'shot' of the familiar Paramount Mountain under an improbable attack, 'We are Made of Dreams…' humorously plays with the concept of second-hand experience through the mediated image. The video's utilisation of 'special effects' is paradoxical, as it assumes the position, as an action-based visual simulation, of the very spectacle it seeks to criticise.
