‘Paint the heroism of modern life, and the spectacle of urbane existence’ - Baudelaire

Shot in the streets of Brighton, [No Title] is a film about existence itself. Taking place during the course of a day, from sunrise to midnight, following six unrelated people walking the streets of Brighton.

The film looks at varying themes such as ‘being English’, stress, faith, death, poverty & home.

Purely observational and improvisational by nature, the film is complemented perfectly by the emotional music of Montreal-based improvisational quartet Shalabi Effect. [No Title] creates a rough sketch of one day of existence, one section of multi-cultural humanity in a modern Western city. Ultimately, we are offered a view of existence in modern life that is at once both realistic and optimistic.
