Description:
Kentaro Chiba's work is a continuous pursuit, a circle of life and creativity. The Life Scroll is the evidence of a painstaking process, the time spent creating a detailed vision in the full knowledge that this will never be seen in its entirety. This relation between association and image; subconscious quotation, recognition and slowed snails pace, delivered over his lifetime, is an extended multi-angled sense of visual and creative inevitability.
