Description:
Ben Cook's Found Paintings are re-appropriated fabrics originally destined for the manufacture of football shirts. Flawed during their production, the Artist’s selects these mistakes and by stretching them onto a support, the misaligned prints, creases, and failing ink jet traces take on the language of painting. Rejects are salvaged to make works of value.
