Description:
‘It's an interesting idea, to reverse one of the most important images of everyday life into painting. But in this case, there's something else happening, because the comments, which seem to be here by chance, have again a very ironic commentary on the problems that people have in encountering painting in general. Painting, in general, seems to be closed. Abstract painting seems not to be accessible and these paintings make a very interesting commentary on this. If these paintings were only about painting, I would have refused them. What is really interesting, is the content and that makes the work come out of an attitude.’
