Description:
‘In Mark Dean's “Love Love Love” terror is perceptible throughout. For instead of being seen as a loveable bundle, the child in the reworked home movies he uses is shown as fragile, confused and sometimes unhappy. Is the result a critique of the family unit or a sideswipe at images which family albums present? Perhaps it simply includes what these images omit: fear, dependence and sexual confusion.’
