‘I wish to continue peeling away at questions of the domestic through an engagement with collections and found objects; chosen and displayed. What concerns me is perceptions of culture and gender and the relation this has to objects and their value. The work will continue to manifest an ethnographic involvement of objects which helps bind the theoretical with the material. Desire alone does not make them manageable. These concerns are quite fluid. They become solid trapped in mud or in the invisible interiors of locks. It's also a preoccupation with searching and collecting, and to picture myself in time. Studying ethnography has helped me bridge art and feminism and all the things which are inherent to my life.’
