Description:
‘Previously Mount Fear was made out of cardboard and had a close likeness to the Grand Canyon. For the New Contemporaries Mount Fear will be made from polystyrene, visually similar to the hostile landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic. Mount Fear, a visual record of statistical data, also represents a physiological moment, the moment an individual feels afraid or threatened; the pulse gets quicker and temperature gets higher. Not only a statistical representation of crime; it also suggests the emotional state of the victims it represents.’
