Description:
‘(…) (The works from this series) employ information from friends who are full time workers to examine the effects of negativities central to modern society such as fear pressure and subordination on the modern day workplace. Male relationships are central to the series. The use of simplified, almost generic images and the limited use of colour and shape serves to make each subject “iconic”, the way standardised signage is used to convey an order or warning. It works to highlight the idea of dehumanisation and the removal of autonomy, erasing individualism.’
